Serynade Wireless First to Offer Wi-Fi Services Targeting Coin-op Laundry Industry

Serynade Wireless announced the immediate availability of its Wi-Fi Internet access service for university campus and neighborhood coin-op laundries nationwide. Serynade's Wi-Fi services enable coin-op laundromat owners to provide waiting patrons with the means to use their laptops to wirelessly connect to the Internet at broadband speeds.

"The Wi-Fi Internet access application we've developed provides everything a laundromat owner needs to increase visibility, attract new customers and begin generating a new revenue stream quickly and easily," said Shawn Hopwood, president and CEO of Serynade Wireless. "Owners implementing our solutions are taking the first step in providing a service that immediately begins generating revenues while helping to establish an Internet-enabled environment capable of delivering a steady stream of next-generation laundromat services."

The over 35,000 coin-op laundromats in the U.S. provide services to almost 89 million people. These individuals consistently spend approximately 90 minutes per visit two to three times a month away from their homes doing a necessary, time consuming task.
